Well 2008 should turn out to be an interesting year. I joined the army in January, have just quit my job of 4 years at Starbucks and will soon be leaving for Basic Combat training in Georgia. Talk about a lifestyle change. Hopefully I will adapt. The year is only half done so I will probably have more to tell once basic is done.
I met him working at Starbucks. He started a few months before me, we got promoted to Shift Supervisor at the same time, and now I’m a Store Manager and tomorrow is his last day working, since he’s joining the army in a couple of months. Or, rather, I should say that he has joined the army and will be leaving on July 1st. He’s one of my best friends, and I’ll miss him while he’s gone. He said I could hold on to his Xbox 360, though, so at least there’s one perk if he doesn’t make it back! (just kidding)
